I cant see it coming down my eyes, so I gotta make the song cry
Everytime I hear this one, I'll just cry.
So mellow, oh so damn beautiful.
One of my all time fave.

when shall we meet again?
I miss the breeze that sometimes accompany the blazing hot sun.
I miss the fruit juice that I would usually have on a sunny day.
I miss having food in large portions.
I even miss the mackerel and rice that I would have when money is tight.
But mostly, I miss you.

what is life?
You have a car and you decided to embark on a journey. You have picked your destination.
And so, you do the preparation, check the car's condition..buy some traveling essential that might be useful in your journey and off you go. You make plans to use which route, which 'mini pit stops' that you would make throughout your journey, places that you planned to visit etc.
You will be going there alone for more adventure or simply bring along a friend or two to keep you company throughout your journey. Sometimes, all good things in life are those shared right?
And off you go. Somewhere along your journey you get tired but you need to keep going. Sometimes you feel like giving up but your companion(s) might give you some motivational words or offer to take turns to drive. Just as that famous Beatles song goes, you'll get by with a 'little help from your friends'.Somewhere in between, you might came across a hitch-hiker and maybe new friends at the R&R or the gas station..who knows??
And along the way, you meet all sorts of people.selfish drivers or speed demons.those kind of people.People who take advantage of your kindness and decided to rob you. Falling out with your companion(s). Maybe you decided that hitch-hiker in your car is not so nice after all and a psychopath. Maybe the fallout with your friend gets so serious that he or she decided to part ways with you.Maybe you will have to go back at the bus stop to apologize or patch things up because the journey seems much better with them...
Maybe along the way you get lost and someone help you out. you might even find an alternative route that takes you to your destination with less hassle or faster...or maybe the route will take you to another destination. A place that you intend to go but eventually, you'll thank god that you found the place. You might even involved in some kind of accident-either you in the hospital and take time to recover before continuing your journey or your journey just ends there.Whatever it is, your journey will not be as what you have had in mind and it teach you a thing or two about yourself, people around you, the environment-or life in general.
Then, life is a journey. You'll never know what's coming ahead or how bumpy can things can get.
But most importantly, things don't always go as the way we planned.

the 411 on the 911
Due to my brother's idiocy, I managed to get online like just a few mins ago.
This is my first post in Malaysia since I arrived on the 1 dec.
How's the feeling?
Bullshit. Some part of me happy to be in the comfort of my own house, some part of me wants someone to take me back to the land of Down Under.
The first day back home is like a huge slap. All the sudden, I'm like Dorothy who's not in OZ anymore, and in my old colourless hometown.
It's like some mothers suffer from post-natal depression, I suffer from post-australia depression. Need some time for adjustment. Kastam, MasKargo.hahaha.

Haven't we met before?
Through dreams, our souls connect with one another.
They lead another life, create another drama.Sometimes, our problems are solved in our dreams yet it still lingers in reality.
When I see you in my dream, I know that our souls have just re-connected with one another.
You're not so distant anymore because we meet each other.. in my dream.
We talk to each other like the old times, laugh together.....
I don't think my theory is true at all but I would like to believe it is.
Because I don't know how will I react when I see you in person.

(Nice dream)
From my observations of my fellow comrades, I can conclude there's a mixture of feelings upon the end of our 2 years abroad.
Some can't wait to go back home-meet all the relatives, boyfriend/girlfriend, new addition to their family, friends and eat all those food. Some have a better social life back home.
Some have mixed feelings-they can't wait to go back and yet they will miss life abroad so dearly...
..and some just don't want to go back home. At all.
Why do we dread to see that day coming? For some, life is much better overseas. Life is more comfortable. The scenery is magnificent. The shopping is heaven. For some, it might be due to the fact that their 'honeymoon' period is over. Life without parental restriction-no curfew, do all the things that the religion forbids..just because they won't get any raised eyebrow from the so-called narrow minded society that we have back home. There's plenty of reasons. It could be that one leads back to the normal life, no more adventurous life...or it could be the transportation system. For whatever the reason is, good or bad, all good things must come to end, eventually. As the saying goes, 'Nothing lasts forever'.
There's pros and cons. I would love to go abroad again but just for a short stay. A holiday maybe. There's a lot of thing that I will surely miss. I'll miss how frequent the public transport is in Brisbane. It sure looks like a comparison of heaven and hell when I thought of my public transport experience in Malaysia. I'll miss how I don't have to rush to the library to get all the books. There's plenty for everyone, including procrastinators. I love the fact that the people are more laidback and not afraid to be themselves. If I were given the choice, I may want to delay my stay or miss my flight but I can't.Life must go on. I had my 2 (almost) years experience and now I'm done. Back to square one. Back to that college near UM.Back to the 24 hours eateries. Another chapter in my life. Another interesting story to tell the grandchildren.
My 2 years stay here taught me a lot of things. Life, relationship, educational...you name it. I've changed throughout my stay here. Everyone changes.Everything changes. There's a lot of adaptation to do once I'm back in Malaysia. Especially the wheather.

all that giltters
I don't really understand why some people would dump their bf/gf just because they are not 'rich' enough.
Well, generally you would think that it only applies to girls but guys use this lame excuse too.
All the girls would always have this perception that some rich Brunei prince would come knocking on their door at say 'Come with me, I'll get you that jet-setting lifestyle where you'll be able buying all the LVs and bling-bling'.Yeah, right. If only miracle would happen.
The thing is, nobody knows what the future holds.Anything is possible. A primary school drop out can be way more successful than someone with MBA(true story, btw). A rich person can go poor in a blink of eye. Is it fair to dump someone just because they can't afford to buy you all the fancy things in life??Even when they are 10 times better than that rich kid that you are longing to marry?Well, think again, honey.Doesn't mean someone is not successful now, they won't be successful later.Because nobody knows-rezeki orang siapa yang tahu, kan?"
All that glitters is not always gold, y'know..

Since that I'm officially done with my final sem, I need to plan my time carefully in order to spend my remaining days in Brisbane with quality minus the boredom.
Wait a sec, I don't think I've been doing that.
Fb, sleep, fb, blogspot, fb,fb,fb....erk?
I wanted to update my Tumblr but I have forgotten how to post entry in Tumblr. It has been a way looong time since I updated my Tumblr. I have a MySpace account but I've already forgotten the password long time ago.Not bothered to retrieved it.Friendster?Hell no, I'm thinking of deleting it.Twitter?Too lazy to think about it. YouTube?I don't know what to watch...I'm running out of ideas with the internet.Any suggestion?
My world revolves around technology. It seems that I need to rethink about my current lifestyle.
There's so much to do, so little time.I need to pack my stuffs for shipping, spring clean my room, return the books to the library and many others. I know I need to do these stuffs asap but I just couldn't be bothered!
Til then, I shall go do a marathon of HIMYM with my bf. Or sleep.Or I dunno....

3 assignments and an exam this 2nd nov.I'm like a mess.My room is like a mess.
Random thought: You know what I'll miss THE most here?
-The awesome uni facilities. The good internet connection.And....the newer and reliable books in the library!!! Hello IPBA' s library and erm, UM's library...NOT!

Mesej ringkas yang padat, ketat & sendat.
I think that you're a victim of a something that people would define as 'culture shock'.

'I'm in love with you, but the vibe is wrong...'

I actually have this limited edition shirt designed by Kanye West for some kind of charity causes. I wore the shirt to death and everyone around me can tell that it's one of my favourite piece of clothing. However, I don't have the guts to wear the shirt anymore since the whole Taylor Swift- MTV-Beyonce fiasco. Afraid that all the Kanye haters out there will beat me up.Hahaha.
I'll think I'll wear it tomorrow. Haven't done the laundry yet.

If you think that everything around me is all gravy, well they are not.
You are wrong. After everything, I've never been this offended before.

he ain't smart but he knows what love is...
Forrest Gump: Will you marry me?
[Jenny turns and looks at him]
Forrest Gump: I'd make a good husband, Jenny.
Jenny Curran: You would, Forrest.
Forrest Gump: But you won't marry me.
Jenny Curran: You don't wanna marry me.
Forrest Gump: Why don't you love me, Jenny? I'm not a smart man, but I know what love is.
it never fails to make me cry, all the time.

Lame/Pathetic...and they know it

Kopi Hitam
'Night Swimming
Beach walking
Always silent
Never talking
Then you call my name
And I know inside I love you'
Black Coffee-All Saints
Sometimes, you don't need to say that three words. It's just understood.
Anyways, I found an interpretation of the song from a website and here what the writer thinks about the song:-
"song is probably about this girl who is so in love with this guy as though he is like the perfect guy for her but the girl is suffering from depression that whenever she is going through an emotional ride, he will be her bashing bag where she let's go of all the emotions. "
woah.

As the title of Pink's album goes "I'm not dead!"
Some friends might have been aware that I have activated my Facebook account now.
Hard decision but had to be done anyways, whether I like it or not.
I decided to deactivated my FB and have no contact whatsoever with any people for about 2 months.
I don't want to know what is happening out there and I don't want people to know about me.
I want to be incognito for awhile.
When people asked 'why'?
I just simply said that 'well, it's addictive' or 'it's getting too overwhelming'.
I'll stick to the latter one.
There were so many bisa- ness around me for the past few months and I need a break.
I need to rethink about these stuffs around me.
I want to disappear for awhile.
I hate how my FB account became a 'tool' for gossiping.melaga-lagakan orang. How FB creates the hypocrite in us...people would be so nice commenting about your pics when behind your back they backstabb you, talk bad about you.How people trying to hard to be friends with everyone when you know that person is not the extrovert kind of person.Funny things that technology make us do just to get attention and whatnot. Not to mention people who would air their dirty linen! Where's privacy in that, huh?
I know I can't run forever as I need to keep in touch with my family(FB is so effective)..I just need time. And I did that yesterday.I don't know hw am I supposed to feel, but I'm glad and hope everything will be okay.No more bro-in-law to nag me to activate my FB back.No more brother saying 'dh xde FB.ingatkan dh mati dah' or the bf and sherry's urge of 'please open ur fb!!
I might leave FB for good if it doesn't do any good for me, anymore.

Frantic, tick-tock!
I woke up, helping with the house, getting myself ready.
Went to the Cohort 5's open house in KGBar.
Went back for our open house.
Entertain the guest for about 3 hours, then off to the room for some attire changing.
Off to Beyonce's concert with Aiman Z.
Came back around 12-ish to be greeted by sleepy Sani saying, "So JG, how's my bitch, Beyonce?"
Had some food before went to sleep.
Next day, off to class at 9 to submit CLB006' assignment.
Later, was in 'uh-mazing race'.
Balik.Tido.Penat.

Brother
My brother just buzzed me through YM.
We finally realized that it's going to be a long time until we get to celebrate Raya with each other.
2 years gone because I'm in Australia.
Another 5 years gone when he's off to Germany this January.
I'm so sad.Seriously.Rasa macam nak nangis.
Anyways, Happy Eid everyone =)

chivalry is definitely NOT dead!
I fell in love with a pak cik sale assistant at Myer today!
(Well, not literally)
Someone made me smile all the way home and it comes in the form of a pak cik.
Well, it is my 2nd encounter with the guy.The first time was ages ago and he is still as friendly as ever.
I was in Myer electronic department where I was browsing some stuff that I intended to buy(I did in the end),Along came this pak cik with the warmest smile ever on earth asking me if I need any help.Well, since I couldn't make up my mind buying that thing yet, I just smiled and said that I'm alright.Moments later, after consulting my bf, I decided to make the purchase, anyways.
So, the pak cik greeted me with that warm smile and simply said "owh, settle for that one only?" I said yup. Then he complimented the Cookie Monster shirt that I'm wearing, saying how he really liked the shirt(the Cookie Monster shirt is definitely a conversation starter, just like my 'twice as nice when I want something' shirt). But the best part has got to be where he actually took all the trouble walking from the cash register just to hand me the item that I bought!
I feel so like in a movie where some posh butler just handed out expensive fur coats, for me to wear.Erk?Does the analogy make sense at all??
Nevertheless, the pak cik really made my day, even for that moment only. And erm, kudos to that department of Myer! There should be more chivalrous-old-friendly-male assistant than the one with smug faces or the typical(found in Malaysia, especially) I-follow-you-around-until-you-want-to-scream-at-me sale assistant.I bet if I decided to take a poo in the fitting room, the latter will definitely be waiting outside with wipes ready for me.How annoying.
If I'm not mistaken his name is Jack.Hehehe.

Weird fishes arpeggi
It's the song that I'm currently listening to while finishing my Reading & Writing assignment.
Everyone around me caught some kind of a bug..not recently.
They will be playing it every night, talking about buying things such as Babolat, 02 silver and whatnot.
Watching it with awe, praising every move that they would call 'a beautiful serve!' and whatnot.
Nadal, Serena, Rod Laver Arena, Australian Open, linesman, ATP,WTA and Federer are some of the vocab that are quite alien to me.
When they speak of it, it's just another 'language' that I don't understand.

Do not despair, for beyond the injustices of this world, beyond matter, beyond clouds, beyond the aether, beyond all things power is all justice, all kindness, all tenderness, all love.
Truth shall rend the veil of tears concealing your smiles.
Brethren, I welcome you and despise your oppressors.

Bliss
Walked around QUT Gardens Point' Botanical Garden.
Spend hours in Borders, reading and browsing books.
Walked all the way home from CBD.
All alone.Arrived home and break my fast with a humble smoked salmon sandwich. Then, fell asleep.
Pure bliss...Penat okay.

And today I got myself one* courtesy to miss Aliaa Z.Thanx, Aliaa! =)
Now, my childhood desire is fulfilled!(??)
* I always have this 'let-me-find-my inner-child' moment where I'll go all mental buying pencil colours and colouring book but always leave the thing untouched.Hangat-hangat taik ayam(Hot-hot chicken shit) lah katakan.

She writes good songs...or narrative stories?
Narrative Genres
Category:Fantasy(Fantastic stories)
Description: Imaginative stories that explore alternate realities and contains elements not found in the natural world. For example: Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher(Coville, 2007) and Poppy (Avi, 2005).
-Taken from Tompkins(2005).
I found this excerpt from the textbook during Reading and Writing class this morning and was wondering that could Avi(2005) the author of Poppy, is actually referring to Zee Avi, who also has a song called erm, Poppy???

of the men in my life
Recently, my brother called me and informed me that he passed his ALG final exam(that's A-levels German, for all you out there).Alhamdullilah and I guess I will be start saving some cash to travel there and see you, 'lil bro??Congratulations! =)
Meanwhile, after a few futile attempts of trying to call my sister & my brother-in-law, I managed to get through them (well, my b-i-l, anyways).Chatted for a an hour about the nephew and stuffs.Everyone, meet Syed Mika(yes, as in Mika the singer). The name did manage to raise everyone's eyebrow but according to my b-i-l, that name is very rare indeed. He listed a few Arabic meanings to the name which I can only remember right now, intelligence.Wow.
..and then, I got 'the news'.
Due to my MIA policy, no one managed to contact me when this occured.....my dad was admitted into the hospital yesterday's morning due to minor stroke.Called mum later and she said that everything's okay..but you know how mums can be at this time, right? It does scare the shit out of me.Hope everything will be okay.Seriously. =(
I really wanna go home right now.....

girl gone wild/behaved badly
Location: Hobart, Tasmania.Time: Early July, winter break.
As the saying goes, it's okay to laugh at ourselves.Don't take life too seriously.
Don't take life too seriously.I think I'm like that, except when I'm doing my assignments or when I'm given (heavy) responsibility.
I tend to get so serious. So serious that I scare the shit out of me.Kasarnya bahasa.Just like the picture.Anak dara zaman sekarang, haish.I should not take things seriously but I can't help it.Semua benda tak boleh pandang ringan kan??? Maybe I should learn a thing or two from my bf, who's the most laidback person I've ever known.
1)Anyways, off the main topic, I would like to congratulate my sister who had just given birth to a baby boy.Now I'm an auntie for the second time and 'lil Sarah has a playmate.Plus, now I have to babysit 2 instead of 1.Tried to call you and Mode but no one picks up the phone. So, hope the blog will do....
2)I went to solat jemaah terawih(grammatically correct ke, anyone??) at the surau just now.A good start for my Ramadhan, this year.Hopefully, a good start to all the things coming in my life.
Ramadhan, sister's new kid and a picture of me with the finger.Wow.I'm losing it.

what is the correlation between 'bee' and 'sting'?
My dad loves Sting and The Police.
My mum loves Bee Gees.
I'm listening to Metallica currently. So I guess that's somewhere in between??
Message in a bottle-Sting and The Police
Sometimes, you don't need all the money in the world or bling-bling to show your thoughtfulness to your loved ones.
You can just simply call someone for no reason just because you're thinking of the person.
You can just buy a box of chocolate home just because someone likes it.
You can just buzz someone through YM.
It happened to me today.I received a card from a friend. With thoughtful message that would do me good with the state I'm in today.I carried the card with me the whole day.Keep reading it over and over again.Something to get me stand up again.
I'm lost and I need help.
Owh, i'll get by with a little help from my friend, right Si Chomel? ;)
Thank you.

..dan sesungguhnya
I'm so fricking emo right now.So fricking pissed off. Got a few issues that's been clouding my head that I need to release all the 'negative energy' somewhere.
To the person who was in the public toilet before me: is it that hard to flush the toilet, like seriously???
To the squid in Mario Kart: Stop bugging me, I hate you!
To the so-called 'Don't hesitate if you need my help-friend':-
After all the ups and downs that we've been through, and the friendship or whatnot, all I get is a simple message?Like, what about a short phone call just to say 'Hello'? Like, where's courtesy??? It's always me to take initiative.I feel so damn used.Seriously.Sangat terasa ok,that is not good what you are(and did) to me.
I know this is another 'negative energy' but, may all your days black.Correct me if I'm wrong but I finally don't see why I should be so nice to you after all the shit that you put me through.
Now I wish that I'm Carrie(the character created by Stephen King, fact fans, btw)
Negativeenergy...negativeenergy...negativeenergy...negativeenergy.....
Sheesh, venting it all out here does work wonders.....

Daddy's little girl
He was the person that I feared the most, when I was a little girl.
He was the person that I hated the most(sometimes) when I was a little girl.
Never get to do what I want.
I'm always wrong( the teenage me).
That was then.
Now, he is my one of my favorite person on earth.
He is one of the people that I really, really love and cherish.
I may be more comfortable with my mum, but my dad is my best friend.
My partner in crime and as I grow older, I've realised the things that I do is actually, well, to please my dad.Make him smile. We are so alike yet so different.
I'm his daughter and he is my father.
I'm still daddy's little girl.Hee....
Happy birthday, abah!

The music sounds better with you
I was meant to write this entry about a week ago but due to the time spent traveling, I only managed to write this one now.
Before I left for Melbourne and Hobart, I was shocked and in disbelief that Michael Jackson passed away.I mean, death is impending but you don't really expect him to die at such young age.Today, I spent my whole day watching the 'remembering Michael Jackson' concert and also some of the special presentation on the King of Pop.However, the saddest and the most touching part has got to be when his daughter made that heart rendering speech.
Somehow, it affected me so much.
Until now, I finally realized how I'm really, really affected by his death.Michael Jackson has been an important part of my childhood.I grew up listening to his songs, the first song that I know and memorized.....the first singer that I know. All was Michael. Why, I even remember how a 4 year old me and my brother would get all excited whenever there's a Michael Jackson's video played on TV.We would stand in front of the screen as close as possible, admiring his dance routine, trying to copy each steps but to no avail.
Michael Jackson, you are truly a great entertainer and you will definitely be missed by all.

In Hobart.....
In Hobart, I....
- feel so England-like and New Zealand-like.Hobart is a combination of Queenstown, Monte Carlo(seriously!) and England(Jo was so true on this one)
- get to meet Jody the friendly sheep dog.
- went to all the parks.
- walked 10km to the peak of Mt Wellington for the breathtaking view of Hobart city and again, it was snowing all the way.Sweet.
- Found rare Halal eateries such as Nandos, Master Kebab and Little India.Others not halal.
- rent a car and drive along the beaches and erm, convict trail.
- bought extremely expensive tuna sandwich that cost us about 8aud.

'My Garbage'
April 2005-November 2007.
That was me then.I'm a whole different person now.

Anyone can play guitar
I've always wanted to play the guitar.I mean, it would be weird if someone who's into the rock genre to say that he or she doesn't want to play guitar.
I've always been the odd one in my family.I liked rock song since I guess when when dad introduced me to The Police when I was a kid.By the time I was 7, I was bopping my head to Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit and Metallica's Enter Sandman. Over the years, my fave or interest in rock genre shifted from hard-metal-to grunge-to-nu-metal before I finally found my real identity: Those stuffs by Radiohead, Coldplay, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus when I was in upper secondary.
Nevertheless, I can't play a single instrument of this genre and it has been my fantasy since I was 8 years old to play a guitar: electric guitar in particular. The closest that I'd get to this instrument of mine back then, is whenever I am in the shower or in front of the mirror...playing 'air guitar'.I've always had a great deal of respect or awe for anyone who is damn bloody good at playing guitar.
I wanted to do the 'leg kicking' like AC/DC.
Or burn and smash my guitar like Hendrix did.
I can't simply because I can't play the bloody thing.
I tried to make my mum send me to those fancy 'Yamaha' guitar class(just like Hannah did) because I want to play guitar. At this age, I had given up because I'm too old to learn how to play guitar, I think.I don't want to start with the acoustic one, just give me the electric ones!!(and bass too).
Somehow, my perception towards that changed yesterday. Just like that song by Radiohead-Anyone can play guitar.I did and I love it.Even though I was struggling adjusting my fingers with strumming and watching the screen, I managed to score as high as 99%.I am playing songs by Kiss, Pat Benatar and also Coldplay! I can play Yellow and Violet Hill (still struggling with God Put a Smile...).I even had 'guitar battle' with Tom Morello! The 'Tom Morello, y'all!
Yes, I played Guitar Hero 3 and I'm addicted to it.
My childhood fantasy does come true, even though it just happen in the living room with Guitar Hero, only.

more than meets the eye, after all
I used to watch Transformers(not the movie) religiously when I was young a girl. That was one of my favourite cartoons other than Ninja Turtles. However, I always have this dissatisfaction with the series.I always thought that whoever created this show must be crazy or something because of one thing:
The Autobots(the good guy) is so not cool compared to the Decepticons(the bad guy).
I mean, in the mind of a young kid, Decepticons should be the good guy. They are way cooler.Fighter jets etc. True definition of 'transformer' whereas Autobots are plain boring with trailer, police car etc.
It should be the other way round, that was what I thought.I asked my dad once and he just said "Well, there's simply a reason to it," Not really answering the question of a curious child, right?
I think I probably know why that it is the way it is.
I guess doesn't mean if a thing is pretty, cool or great it is positive while everything that is bad or ugly is negative after all.Maybe in a way, the producers want to do the whole 'anti-hero' on the Autobots.Well, they are what I would think boring but they are the good guys. They have a nice heart(if there's one inside of 'em').
I guess in life it tells you that there is more than meets the eye, after all.First impression doesn't always come right. When we thought someone to be snobbish, often it turns out to be the other way round.Don't judge a book by its cover.Although I do get fooled by the cover of a book sometimes. You won't know about something(or someone) until you open and read the book. Someone maybe pretty from the outside but underneath that person is the most ugliest creature. I know someone who often gets into trouble, looks like someone who is going to rob a bank but got the softest heart ever.
Jadi, pengajaranya ialah- jangan suka buat tanggapan salah terhadap orang berdasarkan paras rupa.

Meriah makan u oll!
Semalam kan u olls, tengah akak baring-baring manja ala2 miss universe, Kak Cam pun suggest kat akak -'let's buat laksa sarawak u oll!'.Ha, akak pun ape lagi, mulalah tolong2 Kak Cam sket masak....pastu kan u olls, kiteorang pun makan lah sampai masing2 badan naik macam gajah u olls! Tapi kan, semalam, akak and Kak Cam paling sentap bila orang bawah rumah buat bising sebab kami masak u oll! Dia buat bitch dengan I, I pown buat bitch balik lah! Pastu, Kak Cam pun, dengan slang2 ompoteh dia menjerit lah-'it's a house, for god's sake!!' Wah, hebat u Kak Cam, I'm so proud of you! Lepas tu, kami report kat Hot Mama, dia pun ape lagi.... keluar belakang rumah, terus menjerit.Feeling yang marah gitew-'We'are cooking, fucker!'.Cam hanjeng orang2 bawah ni u oll! But, hebat u, Hot Mama and Kak Cam, I suka taw!
Anyways, let's change back to the normal discourse.
The next day, today, that is, I woke up around 6.30 am to help Syefah cook for the Masca NCG fund-raising thingy. I actually did the whole 3 cohorts of Roti Jala! Definitely bring back some memories and Syefah agreed-New Zealand, 649 CLV, Popo, of promises etc.....I swear by the amount of Roti Jala that I did since last year, I've become an expert(x boleh blah statement!).Why, I even compliment myself on those cute looking Roti Jala that I made and folded. Mama is surely gonna be damn proud of her little girl (lagi x boleh blah, statement)!
But what I really, really crave for are those lil Coney Dogs from A&W!

No man is an island
Last night I watched Cast Away on the television. Well, I've watched it so many times before on HBO but usually I skipped some scenes(especially if there's a MORE interesting movie next channel or cool video clips on MTV). Watching the whole movie properly this time, I finally get to be 'in the zone'.'In the zone' where I got all 'aww...poor him', 'it must be horrible to get stranded all alone' kind of feeling. Thus, I begin to wonder, if I were to get stranded on a deserted island for four years, what should I do??
Wait, what should I bring along for survival??
Wait, what should I bring along for survival??
- First thing first, I need to have my ipod.Plus, an ipod charger that doesn't require electricity.I need music.
- Probably sunblock(face and body) lotion.I can't afford to get sunburned.
- My hair serum.I can't afford to get dry locks.
- A collection of books, to keep me busy when I'm damn bored. Academic books are excluded from the list.
- A lifetime supply of mineral water. I don't think I can drink from those places like Chuck did.
- My facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner. That's my basic needs.
- The Swiss knife would come handy =)
- A mobile phone.Need to get connected.
- Last but not least, my own 'Wilson'. But I think I need a real life one, so that we'll have a 'proper' two-way conversation. Suitable people that I'm considering are Thom Yorke, Tom Hanks himself, any contestant(winner preferably) of Survivor, maybe Wilson the volleyball, Victoria Beckham(just want to see if she can be that Posh under that circumstance), Ben Affleck/Johnny Depp/Hugh Jackman/Adrian Grenier.Maybe the bf would be a good idea to help me with all the 'guy stuffs'.

the one where she finished a 2000 words essay in a day
The title is sooo Friends. I miss watching the reruns on Star World.
Out of the 6 friends, I can't really settle on a favorite.Hmm, let see....I like them all but if I have to pick one(or two and three) I think I like Ross. He's so funny and a bit blur sometimes.I like Rachel too because well, she's Rachel! Last but not least, the ever sarcastic Chandler.
Yesterday, I started on Erika's analysis paper and finished it on the same day!
The older I get, the better I am with procrastination! Hahaha......
I have always wanted the 'Rachel' haircut. If only....
I admire Lady Diana Spencer,Victoria Beckham, Jackie Onassis and Audrey Hepburn's sense of style.I know, I'm soo old school...(except for Posh).
I'm craving for that pink Coach bag...Canon G10....a trip to Europe...If only, again.
Need to save some cash, need to claim the Beyonce tickets that I bought( I actually waited until the clock strikes 12pm on the pre-sale day just to get the best priced tix..note same adrenaline rush that Far get when she bought the Coldplay tix).
I'm so swamped with work that I have been neglecting my blog.I do FB but only because I want to do those silly quizzes and release all the tension from the assignments.Been reading the C1 and C2 blogs a lot because I'm dreading the day that I will become a teacher. Maybe I need to go out a bit...
I miss mum and dad like badly... =(
I need to book the accommodation for winter hols.or we won't have a place to stay ;)
There's so many things in my mind...but now I'm expressing it, all my thoughts.
Here's a thought- two of my closest buddies got the best ex ever. For still having some kind of concern and not to write off people simply. There is still some goodness in this world, apparently. So sweet.. =)

Right here, right now!
Currently,I've been eating Cheerios for breakfast.
The laptop's current wallpaper is a picture of me, Far, Dee and Ine(even though there is a long dotted line on Far's face).
Right now, I'm waiting for AZhafri to finish his assignment at KG's comp lab.

Daft Punk-Technologic
Ciara and Justin-Love, Sex and Magic
Ella Fitzgerald-Blue Skies

Current workload:A lot(Assignments) =(
Right now, I'm listening to Robot Rock.
Next on my playlist is Queens of the Stone Age-The lost art of keeping a secret.
What I want to do next?Balik rumah, mandi dan tidur.

Snip, snip!
Yesterday, I got myself an instant therapy.
I haven't done this thing right here in Aussie but I did it.
Very costly but I need to do it.
Snip here, snip there and everywhere....
I just got myself a haircut(courtesy of AimanZ)!
Thanks, now I feel much better. =)

'Stressed' is 'desserts' spelled backwards
Found in the Cultural and Language Department of my uni;-"Behind every great woman, is a man checking out her ass"
Now, not that the picture displayed has anything to do with the quotation.I just want to spice up the blog a bit, thought that it is a bit boring and yeah, I am damn bored(Well, it is a guy who took this pic anyways ;p).
On a more serious note, life is hectic nowadays.I got loads of commitment. All work and a bit of play.Qutmysa, student life and so on.At times like these, you definitely wish that the winter holidays would come asap and you can hibernate like a polar bear without anyone bothering you...but winter holidays mean that you need to go out and finish all the cash that you got in your bank(ie. travel).
There is so many things on my mind right now that I just couldn't find the right word to say.
Go back to your assignments...don't procrastinate, Hezrin!

Apabila fikiranku melayang....
'Cintaku terhadapmu telah lama pudar, ibarat getah-getah di sekeliling earphone ku yang sudah lama tercabut.'
Erk?Am I making sense here?
Cubaan pertama untuk berkarya dalam bahasa ibunda.Harap maaf.
The result of walking on the treadmill for too long.Ada je idea pelik-pelik.

"Stuck in the middle with you,"
Well, don't believe the title of this blog, entirely.Yes, I got stuck in the middle between levels in a lift. What started out to be a bad day....doing assignment until 4am, woke up late, going to class a bit late....Not to mention that my housemates and I have this wish of coming late to Erika's class(just because we couldn't be bothered to wake up early and do the readings she assigned us).
Be careful what you wish for, people would say.
So, as we sauntered our way to her class, with a purpose to waste time(take note), we decided to take the lift since we also couldn't be bothered to climb up the stairs anymore. There were 9 of us. Me, Aiman, Zaim, Ka, Syefah, Acan, Sani and two lecturers from the research department I think. We got into the lift and the least unthinkable thing happened-The lift broke down.
"Owh, don't worry, we'll just have to call the security,"said lecturer number 1, holding chocolate cupcakes.
"It's always like this, with this lift...but it should be alright,"said lecturer number 2.
And that's when our friendship is formed with the two lovely ladies.
"It shouldn't take that long," smiled lecturer number 1.
30 minutes later, we are still inside the lift.
Singing Michael Jackson songs, talking about Michael Jackson, camwhoring, talk about how early it is for us to die.........
Almost an hour and we are gasping for our breath. The lecturer actually called the security few more times before we got 'rescued'. Then everybody got their Frantelle Spring Water with 'First Aid' labeled on it.How cool is that? Then we went to Erika's class, to be greeted with a clap and "You survived!"
And that is the story of the day.Hahahaha.
So be careful for what you wish for.....

Down with the sickness
The weather change recently is a bit haywire. So does the health of everyone. It's a bit frustrating like, all the time when it's raining everyday.Summer is over and autumn has arrived.....it's not that cold in Brisbane but it's definitely getting colder.I'm wearing skirt but I still wear cardigan. How's that?
Oh well, due to the weather change, fever, cold or sore throat spread like some kind of epidemic here. It's like today is someone's turn and tomorrow is my turn and few hours later is some poor soul's turn. I actually got a fever a day before my presentation and until this day, I have a runny nose that annoys me to the max, especially when I'm sleeping(Everytime I go to sleep, it's like the oxygen supply is going to get cut off or something...)Not to mention the profuse amount of Vicks that I inhaled and massaged onto my nose! And those lozenges!!
During times like these, you wish you take back your words such as "Damn, it's too hot, when the autumn is going to come?", or count your blessings of having a good health.Things like these make you appreciate the things that you take for granted.Isn't it ironic how sickness or tragedy make people appreciate things around them better?
Oh, the beauty of life... =)

'...everyone has dreams but only few realise them...'
"...everyone has dreams but only few realize them, make cowards...the rest of us"
-Paolo Coelho's Veronika Decides to Die-
One of my favorite books from one of my favorite authors is immortalised in a film.
I just want to die right now.

Please, stop whatever you're doing to me...
Sometimes, no matter how much effort you've put in something, things will just not work.
Often you've been told that "you care too much.it's not like they feel the same,"
I tried to please everyone, care about whatever they are doing and such....that sometimes, I neglected the person that cares for me the most.I don't want anyone to get hurt but sometimes I get hurt, in the end.
Am I some kind of person that you look for when none of your 'cool people' with you?Only to write me off when you've found them again?Am I some kind of disposable?
To be honest, I'm so sick and tired of this. This is not the first time nor will it be the last.I guess from now on, it's best that I do my own thing and you do yours.I'll try not to put others before myself for people can be so selfish.I need to break my curse of "care about people too much".Then, I would not feel so let down by you, my friend.
I really value all my friends.Don't make me regret saying that.

Home, is where I want to be right now....
Today is my dear brother's 20th birthday.
Happy birthday to you!Saya sayang adik saya.
He said all the right things that make me feel good when I don't feel good.
We tell each other's dilemma or consult one another for advice.
I need a guy's point of view and vice versa.
We fight like cats and dogs.
Nevertheless, I love him to bits.
I need to call home right now, I need to hear those voices that will make me feel a bit OK.

Private and confidential.Period.
Recently, two of my favourite blogger, Syefah and Farizah wrote about privacy.Oh well, I'm not going to touch on the same issue but it definitely has something to do with it.....
I guess that everybody needs their privacy once in awhile.Yes, I admit that I do enjoy being with a crowd of people now and then but sometimes I crave my own privacy.I'm a private person. There are certain things about me that I'm comfortable to share with the whole world but there are also certain things that I prefer to keep to myself.Sometimes, when I have to fill in some particulars that require me to describe myself in detail, I prefer not to.I always have this fear of 'giving too much info to people' when I have to.So I keep it short and simple. If someone interested to know me, let it be the appropriate way.Be my friend. Then you'll know me.
However, there are certain part of me that I still keep to myself even when you are friends with me.Except those that I consider to be in my 'Circle of Trust'.These people are the people that I'm comfortable to share secrets or whatnot. My confidante.I'm quite careful when it comes to my privacy....I guess that's probably because some people betrayed my trust and all.So I become more private in order to avoid getting hurt again.
From what I've said previously, I have to admit that there's still a certain part of me that I keep private while writing this blog.My fear of letting people know my thoughts and all get the better of me again.Sometimes, I write my blog meticulously in order not too give too much info.Sometimes, there are things that I need to keep to myself and not express it all through my blog or Facebook. Let me keep my private life, erm, private.I'm not the type of person who write lovey-dovey stuffs in my blog, do lovey-dovey shout outs or Facebook status, upload heaps of pictures of me and my boyfriend going out together or whatnot. Some people comfortable doing so but to each of his or her own....maybe because I'm an introvert at times.
From what I've written, I'm a private person. However, not it is not so private anymore that I'm a private person.Hahaha.
Let me tell you one thing though, my favourite place in a house is the bathroom. That is the place where anyone can get 'instant' privacy, right? Not only that you shower and do stuffs there. It's also a good place to cry without being seen. ;)
Now that's not so private and confidential anymore, huh?

Oh, now that everything is in colour...life is wonderful!
"Oh love, don't don't let me go
Won't you take me where the street lights glow?
I could hear rain coming, I could hear the sirens sound
Now my feet won't touch the ground..."
Coldplay "Life in Technicolour 2"
One of the songs that I just couldn't get outta my head, currently.
I'm on cloud 9.....that my feet won't touch the ground.

Truth hurts, but being lied to hurts more.
"....nothing lasts forever, but be honest babe
It hurts but it may be the only way"
Kanye West feat. Adam Lavigne, 'Heard 'em say'
Sometimes, we lie to cover things up.Thing is, when we lie, we have to create more lies in order to cover up the previous lies. That's when the hardest part comes in.When all your lies are revealed. When you are caught tangled up in your own web of lies.
That's when people lose their faith and trust in you.
Even when you tell people the truth, there is still doubt in every single words that you say.
Truth hurts but sometimes, you need to know the truth.
Just say it.No need to lie.Tak perlu menipu.
It hurts but it may be the only way"

When happiness comes in the form of a butterfly...
While unpacking and organizing my stuffs in the new humble abode, I came across a notebook with a quotation on it.Somehow, it kinda make me smile for awhile.I got this notebook probably on my birthday, 2-3 years ago I think.Or maybe on Friendship day or some random act of kindness done by the person who gave it to me.An old friend that I haven't keep in touch anymore due to the different paths that we took...
Anyways, the quote on the cover goes something like this;
"Happiness is like a butterfly:the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder...."
-Thoreau-
I have always liked this quotation.Thank you so much, in case I haven't thanked you enough all those times throughout our friendship. The friendship that we had thought me a lot of things, help me to grow as a better person, hopefully.Somehow, this quote does give me a whole new outlook on life.
Sometimes, I still wonder, what ever happened to you, my friend?

What we are and where we are from....
From the way I see it;
We came from a million of different possibilities.
We are a million of different possibilities that we want to be.

The girl is back in Brisbane....
I arrived in Brisbane finally 2 days ago, after the so called 'summer hols' in Malaysia.
Some part of me is sad with the fact that I'm leaving home but some part of me is anticipating my life back in Brisbane. There was a time that I got so bored at home that I even questioned my decision of going back in the first place.Come to think of it again, it's a blessing in disguise. I made some discoveries about myself, about the people around me, not to mention getting some new outlook on life.It was all about finding myself again, finding things that had been lost out of my sight and also mind all these years.....
Oh well, I went out today. It was raining heavily and Aiman and I went to look for shelter in the.....Queensland Museum. What an educational outing.

A matter of Mars and Venus
It's not fair to say that '... it is tough to be a woman'.
Yes, being a woman is tough.Once, my friends and I discussed that us girls have a tough life then the male counterparts.There are a few things that a girl has to go through in her life, which comes in the package of being a female.Such things are;
-A girl has to go through PMS and stuff, water retention etc.Sometimes, we are excused for acting all 'melodramatic' or 'plain weird' just because we are having 'one of those days'.Period pain sucks, that's the truth but hey, us girls also don't enjoy the emotional side effects of it too.....
-It is a truth universally acknowledge that only women give birth, not man.So, we have to carry another life for 9 months, gaining heaps of weight, looking uber unattractive during the 9 months and also after the birth, endure pain during childbirth.Men don't have to go through all that....Prior to that, a woman also has perform her duty as a wife and also mother, looking after her family while we also want to achieve success in carrier. It is tough being a woman these days.....
....but, let's have both sides be heard. It is tough too being a guy these days, I think.Such difficulties are;-
-It is also a truth universally acknowledge that a guy must 'woo' the girl(well, these days, it works both ways...).In that process, the guy must have at least a sufficient amount of cash. This is because they need the money to take their girlfriends out for dinner(although some people happily go dutch in this case), pamper them with cute or expensive gifts and whatnot...later, the guy has to save some money too for weddings(Mostly marriages in the Malay culture, i think) and later also when they have a family. They work damn hard to make ends meet in order to provide a better life for their wife and children. Some guys might be lucky that they earn more and have a comfortable working environment. For some, they wish that they can provide more for their family.....
So, i do think that it is tough for both genders actually. There's pros and cons of being Mars and Venus.
