Brisbane,brisbane.......

I'm already in Brisbane, Down Under for abt....2 weeks already. I find life here is nothing compared to my expectations! plus, i think of brisbane as bangsar....only bigger in size! i hafta admit that once u go overseas, u'll appreciate what's in your backyard. it's so hard to eat out(due to the hala/haram factor), most shops closes around 5...(mebbe on friday til 9pm..) and not to mention that it's damn hard to find my clothing size! especially for jeans, skirts and whatnot!!!! the smallest size that you can find is size 8! and that was my old

size before i shrunk!!

However, i've been meeting people from different walks of life....jan harvey( the 'aussie aunty') an jo carr has been very helpful in making us feel at home......a malaysian student who's doin phd(me n syefah basically calls him health guy!), another m'sian student who's alone, Jeslyn.....a bangladeshi guy who resides in melbourne with his fam....an ex-expartriate in kl......vegitarian cindy and her friend....and it's getting pretty interesting.ha.ha

Not to mention that the shopping is good too!(despite the fact that I mention how hard it is 2 find my size over here, i find the shopping quite tempting!) There's a few good Aussie brand that is a must have such as Supre, Valleygirl,Dotti,Jay Jays.....there's also bargain items that you can find in big W, Target's hop options design are so chic and yet at an affordable price!)So, i guess i enjoy shopping here.....

In the midst of all good things, there's also the bad.....not every australian is friendly(racism and whatnot....), the ever changing wheather! it's freaking mad in here!!!! I miss malaysia.......totally the case of 'there's no place like home'!!! Til then.....i'll rant heaps more about brissy as i discover more places.....n more eateries( abra kebab, anyone???)
